The Export of Oilmeals for the month of February 2024 is provisionally reported at 515,704 tons compared to 471,770 tons in February 2023  i.e. up by 9%.  

The Solvent Extractors’ Association of India has compiled the Import data of Vegetable Oils (edible & non-edible) for the month of February 2024. Import of vegetable oils during February 2024 is reported at 974,852 tons compared to 1,114,481 tons in February 2023

Import of Vegetable Oils during November 2023, first month of the Oil Year 2023-24, is reported record import of 1,160,590 tons compared 1,030,204 tons in October 2023 i.e. up by 13% and 1,545,540 tons during Nov.’22.

In 2018-2022, the production of vegetable oils in India, including soy, gradually increased: in 2022, 9.3 million tons of vegetable oils were produced in the country, which is 5.9% higher than in 2021.
