The Solvent Extractors’ Association of India has compiled the Import data of Vegetable Oils (edible & non-edible) for the month of April 2024. Import of vegetable oils during April 2024 is reported at 1,318,528 tons compared to 1,050,189 tons in April 2023

In 2018-2022, the production of vegetable oils in Egypt gradually increased: in 2022, 858.0 thousand tons of vegetable oils were produced in the country, which is 13.9% higher than in 2021. Most of the production of vegetable oils in Egypt in 2022 fell on soybean oil — 95.6% (820.0 thousand tons).

The Solvent Extractors’ Association of India has compiled the Import data of Vegetable Oils (edible & non-edible) for the month of March 2024. Import of vegetable oils during March 2024 is reported at 1,182,152 tons compared to 1,172,293 tons in March 2023

Sales of pasta in Saudi Arabia for the period 2018-2022 increased by 28.2% (from 118.5 to 151.9 thousand tons). In 2022, the total sales volume amounted to 151.9 thousand tons, which is 4.8% more than in 2021.

The Export of Oilmeals for the month of February 2024 is provisionally reported at 515,704 tons compared to 471,770 tons in February 2023  i.e. up by 9%.

Import of vegetable oils in India during January 2024 is reported at 1,200,835 tons compared to 1,661,750 tons in January 2023

The volume of consumption of soft drinks in India in 2018-2022 was in the range of 14.0–18.0 million tons. The average annual consumption growth rate for 2018-2022 was 6.5%.

The overall export of oilmeals during April to Nov., 2023 reported at 2,883,921 tons compared to 2,382,690 tons i.e. up by 21%.
